Moratorium for RITEVE Inspections

COSEVI has granted a moratorium of one month for vehicle owners whose inspection is due between May and June. This is applicable to vehicles with plates ending in 5 and 6.

Thus, those who have to go in May will have time until June and those who have to go in June can do so until July. Of course, these provisions do not include those who were required to attend in March or previous months.

COSEVI Director, Edwin Herrera, stated that these measures are implemented due to the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 Virus. The primary intention is to avoid the enforcement of penalties to drivers who have not been able to complete the inspection due to the restrictions put in place by the government.

RITEVE Stations will have the following schedule:

Central Valley

Starting on May 18, from Monday to Sunday 6:00 am to 7:00 pm.

But, starting on May 25th, the schedule will be:
Monday through Friday: 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Saturdays: from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Outside the Central Valley

Monday to Sunday: from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Liberia: from Monday to Saturday 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
