My Dimex will expire October 25th 2022, can I schedule an appointment now? Or must I wait for until it expires before I can schedule a renewal appointment?

  • Brandon October 9, 2022

Based on the information on the Migracion site it looks like the new DIMEX will include a digital PDF with QR code. Is there any information on if this will be replacing the physical DIMEX card or what the expected turnaround from appointment to receiving the DIMEX will be? It would be nice for it to be less than the month it currently takes to receive it. Thanks

      Brandon,

Were you able to request the appointment for your DIMEX?

As always, thank you for all the details. I have been trying to reach the BCR call center using the phone number you provided, 800-227-2482, and I keep getting a message that the number is not correct. I am using my local Costa Rican Kolbi phone to call from. Is there another number I can use or any direction you can give on how to use the 800 number is appreciated. Thank you!
