The National Registry announced key dates regarding its functions for the next weeks and months. Starting October 29 until November 02, the institution will close its offices all over the country and will suspend the services through other entities, rnpdigital.com, and digital window. This suspension responds to the annual maintenance of their digital platforms.

Then, to catch up with the backlog caused by the pandemic, the National Registry will provide continuous support to users during December 2020 and Easter 2021, with exception of the official holidays.

Per the recommendations provided by resolution JAD-475-2020 from October 23rd, 2020, Offices will only close on December 1st (Army Abolition Holiday), December 25th (Christmas), and January 1st (NYE).

The National Registry serves as an archive of important legal documents and registry of Real Estate, Intellectual Property, Land Titles, and Legal Persons (people). Simply put it houses everything from vital records like birth and death certificates, to vehicle and property titles, to trademarks and corporate records.
